Hotel Review: Element Boston Seaport District is my Home Away From Home

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCLA chapter.

This past spring break, the Element Boston Seaport District was my “home away from home.” Perfectly located near the airport, convention center and seaport, Element SD Hotel became home during my three-day stay in Boston.

Our cozy and clean hotel room was equiped with a full kitchen, a large desk, and two comfortable beds. The hotel room actually felt more like a furnished apartment rather than a one-time-visit hotel. We also enjoyed the large and beautiful bathroom and moveable television. My friends and I even took advantage of the amazing kitchen by purchasing groceries at Trader Joe’s and making some dinner. Luckily, the hotel offers a free deluxe breakast buffet- so we did not need to wake up early to cook before our sightseeing for the day. We also ended each day with complimentary wine and cheese at the hotel’s “happy hour” to recharge before heading out to explore Boston’s nightlife.

I also loved the open space in the lobby where many gathered to work on their laptops and even play board games.

In addition to the amazing amenities offered by our hotel, we also got to enjoy the amenities offered at the Aloft Seaport District hotel located next door. These sister properties could not be any more different from one another, but both are amazing in their own ways. I loved being able to grab a fun cocktail at the trendy and colorful W XYZ Bar located at the Aloft and then walking less than 100 feet back to the quiet, relaxing and homey Element hotel.

My favorite part of the Aloft Hotel was taking in the beautiful artwork and decor of the hotel.

The Element Boston Seaport District actually felt like my “home away from home” and I hope to stay here the next time I’m in Boston.
