The nice thing about this hairstyle is that it’s not full on curls but soft voluminous layers mixed with a blowout look. So, it’s the perfect spring hairstyle for anytime of the day! You don’t have to be Amanda Seyfried to pull it off because HerCampus has your step-by-step guide to mastering this look.
How To:
- Start with your hair damp and loosely dry it
- Starting at the top of your hair, work with 3-inch sections by pulling them outward with a round brush. As you do this, sweep the hair dryer nozzle over the full length.
- Next, in order to boost volume, wrap sections around velcro rollers, applying a quick blast of heat to each roller.
- Wait about 5-10 minutes until hair has cooled and remove the rollers. Brush through the waves and tease if necessary by the crown to add height.
What You Will Need:
- Round velcro rollers which are very inexpensive and can be found at RiteAid
- Bodifying/Volumizing mouse to use when your hair is wet before you put in the rollers
- Hair dryer
- Teasing comb to touch up the pieces at the end
