Summer is slowly coming to an end, meaning it’s finally time to put away our favorite cutoffs and throw on our biggest, most oversized sweatshirts. Elle’s recent trend report for this fall inspired us to take some of these trends and turn them into oh-so campus friendly outfits for the beginning of the school year.
Velvet has kept its popularity game strong, and this season is no different. From heeled boots to floor-length dresses, a velvet version of your favorite clothing item/accessory has probably already been made. And as much as I would like to casually wear a velvet Altuzzara dress to class, I think a simple velvet t-shirt will have to do (for now). Paired with ripped jeans, sneakers, and a hat, you’ll be equipped for any classes and studying throughout the day in this outfit.
