Campus Style: Krystal Otworth
There’s nothing like ending the quarter off with a bang, especially with finals right around the corner. Why not end the quarter with a fashion bang as well? While the studious Krystal is in the midst of preparing for finals, she still manages to keep fashionable at the same time. Both her study habits and fashion test scream “A+”!
- What is a must-have for you in your closet?
Probably a blazer, I think I’ve always had a blazer in my closet. Just because it’s good for any occasion, like interviews, and church. It’s really good for almost anything.
- Do you have any fashion icons?
No I do not.
- Do you believe your style has evolved over the years?
Yes, definitely. I used to wear sweatpants all the time but over time, I started wearing t shirts and accessorizing. I started wearing them all the time, it’s like one of the best parts of fashion.
- Would you say you and your friends have similar fashion tastes or different ones?
I think all of my friends have a different styles, and I think it’s because whatever makes them feel confident. For example, some of my friends like to dress really professional, and some of my other friends throw on what they want, they don’t even match.
- Did you participate in Black Friday recently?
Yes I did. I went to H&M and not surprisingly, I got a blazer! I also got a couple of shirts and bought some shoes from H&M because they have really good deals. I also went to Forever 21 and I bought some scarfs. Then I went to Tilly’s and I bought some pants.
- With winter coming up, do you predict a slight change of wardrobe?
Yes, more jackets and more scarfs.
