BRUINS JUST CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF THE TA-TAS!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCLA chapter.

In the midst of our newest partnership with breast cancer awareness brand, Save the Ta-Tas, us at HC were blown away at how much our fellow Bruins love them some ta-tas!  While passing out Save the Ta-Tas paraphernalia to students along Bruin Walk, we found that Bruins were eager to support the fight and sport some ta-ta shwag!

And we must say, they were very cleverly clad!  With witticisms such as the favorite, “Caught you lookin’ at my ta-tas,” the Ta-Tas merchandise quickly spread throughout the UCLA campus.  We even received a considerable amount of ta-ta love from the Bruin boys, who said they were specifically drawn to the brand’s hilarious name!

Ta-Tas founder Julia Fikse hit on something big…turn fundraising into fun!  And what better way to strike a chord with America’s youth than through humor?  This cleverly branded merchandise is the perfect way to target college students…who still find boobie jokes amusing!

The brand, which donates a portion of all proceeds and 25% of its net profits to breast cancer research, has contributed over $625,000 to the fight thus far!  Seems like the ta-tas aren’t going anywhere soon without a fight!

Madeline Hunt is a senior at UCLA majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Spanish. Originally from the laidback beach-town of Santa Barbara, the California native finds the fast-paced nature and eccentricity of LA extremely exciting. Once more, she decided to expand her horizons when she studied abroad this past fall in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Madeline wants to pursue a career in the entertainment industry and is considering broadcast journalism and public relations as potential options. On campus, she is currently the Public Relations & Marketing Director for the student- run organization Fashion and Student Trends and an intern at E! News. She served as an entertainment reporter on UCLA’s accredited student newspaper, The Daily Bruin, under the video division and is a current member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. During her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, exercising, going to the beach, shopping (online shopping will be the death of her!), reading Glamour and Cosmo, eating Mexican food and sushi, spending time with her friends, practicing her Spanish, and satisfying her weakness for caffeine with Starbuck’s lattes.
