6 Reasons We’re SO Excited for 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2017

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCLA chapter.

LA’s number one hit music station, KIIS FM, recently announced the lineup for their annual Jingle Ball concert, and I could not be more excited. The concert will be taking place on December 1st at the Forum in Inglewood. Tickets will be on sale starting Monday October 15 at 12 p.m. and ticket prices start at around $50. There are also many ways to win free tickets and meet and greet passes by listening to 102.7 KIIS FM.

As a Los Angeles native, some of my best memories include attending these concerts in the past. Check out the six reasons why I am so excited for this year’s concert!

1. It’s affordable

You get to see 11 AMAZING artists for the price of one concert. Plus, they usually have around four to five up-and-coming artists perform a free outdoor Village pre-concert a few hours before Jingle Ball starts.

2. New Taylor is performing

This will be one of Taylor Swift’s first performances after her new album drops on Nov 10. So, if you love Taylor as much as I do, then you are not going to want to miss this.

3. At least 2/5 of One Direction will be there

Calling all One Direction fans! While it does not seem like the boys will be reuniting anytime soon, this seems like the best opportunity to see two of your faves in concert. Niall Horan and Liam Payne will both be performing and maybe if we’re lucky a few of their supportive friends named Louis, Harry and Zayn might be in the audience.

4. Ryan Seacrest & the KIIS FM team will be hosting

After listening to them on the radio each day, it is going to be so exciting to see Ryan Seacrest, Sisanne, Tanya Rad, JoJo on the Radio, Boytoy Jesse and everyone in person.

5. You might be on TV

The Jingle Ball tour will hit 12 stops, but the Los Angeles concert is the only one that is going to be filmed and aired on The CW. So make sure to test out your dance moves before the show and get your posters ready.

6. It’s the best way to get into the holiday spirit

Whether you’re celebrating or not, nothing is better then the festive stage designs, outfits, and performances.
