5 Music Festivals You Need to Attend in California

Music festivals are a fun and exciting way to see your favorites bands with your friends in a unique atmosphere. This list includes a few of the top music festivals in California that you need to check out at least once in your lifetime!

1. Coachella 2017  

Weekend two of Coachella kicks off this Friday in Indio, CA. Major artists include Radiohead, Lady Gaga, DJ Snake, Bon Iver, Kendrick Lamar, and Lorde. 

2. Stagecoach 2017 

Stagecoach is an amazing country music festival that is happening this month in Indio, CA on April 28-30. Major artists include Dan + Shay, Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney, Kip Moore, and Thomas Rhett. The performer we’re the most excited about is the one and only Shania Twain!

3. Bottlerock Napa Valley 2017 

Bottlerock is a three-day festival in the heart of Napa, CA and includes a weekend full of incredible music, food, and of course, wine. The lineup includes well-known favorites like Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Maroon 5, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and Foo Fighters along with some awesome indie bands like Catfish and the Bottlemen, Modest Mouse, St. Lucia, Saint Motel, and Bad Suns. 

4. Outside Lands 2017

Outside Lands is taking place in San Francisco’s beautiful Golden Gate Park from August 11-13. Major acts from the lineup include Alt-J, Bleachers, Tove Lo, Vance Joy, Lorde, and Young the Giant.

5. FYF Fest 2017

FYF Fest is taking place this year in Exposition Park, Los Angeles during the weekend of July 21-23. The lineup includes Missy Elliot, Björk, Frank Ocean, Solange, MGMG, and Kehlani.
