Most people have heard of Donald Glover, or Childish Gambino, but they don’t know much about him. Maybe he is that one rapper that came out with the song 3005 or that one really good song that’s talking about Sweatpants and has that cool pun in it? Let’s be real, people totally underestimate this rapper because they only know what they hear on the radio or on that one rap station. Childish Gambino isn’t just a rapper, what some people don’t know is that he’s a singer, songwriter, screen writer, actor, comedian and producer as well.
He has written for the show 30 Rock and has starred in an original show titled “Community”.
He has his own comedic movie on Netflix and he has produced his own music as well as helped others creatively come up with their own sound and style. As far as i’m concerned, Childish Gambino will be the next big thing.
He has just come out with an original FX show titled “Atlanta” about the city he grew up in and the music industry found there. With only one episode premiering last night, September 6th, there is already a major buzz over the plot and what critics are expecting to come.
Basically, Donald Glover is talented in every mass media area avilable in the world from music to writing to producing and he’s going to rule the game soon enough so don’t be surprised if you’re seeing his name everywhere.
Along with being exceptionally talented and successful, he is also incredibly intelligent and driven.
I don’t know about you, but nothing screams attractive like determination to succeed in life and a career path.
He’s written his own screenplay to go along with his “Because the Internet” album in which you can listen to the album while reading the screenplay in order and a story unfolds in front of you.
My goal is to succeed, particularly in mass media, so to see that someone can learn the tricks of the trade, work hard and perfect their talent at the young age of 32 makes me believe that if I work hard enough I will be able to achieve everything I’ve ever wanted as well. He’s pretty inspiring while just being a cool dude and living out his life. Once you start looking into who he is you won’t be able to dislike him one bit and I guarantee you’ll be on the Gambino train just like me. It inspires me that at such a young age he could accomplish so much and make such a name for himself through so many mediums and venues and it’s people like this that make it possible for others to keep believing and hoping to make it big one day too.
