As students at the very sunny University of Central Florida, Her Campus UCF girls know that the most important accessory to have on hand is a stylish pair of sunglasses. Luckily for us, Foster Grant recently opened their flagship retail location at the Florida Mall! They were awesome enough to host an exclusive in-store shopping event for the HC UCF team, and it was an absolute blast! We were treated to sweet cookies and an even sweeter discount to pick out some stylish new shades. There’s nothing more fun than shopping with your girlfriends, and scoring an amazing deal on trendy and functional sunglasses only added to that fun.
All of Foster Grant’s sunglasses retail for under $100, and the majority of them are even more affordable than that. What’s better than a combo of affordability and fashion? Nothing, that’s what. The ladies of Her Campus UCF had a blast trying on as many styles as we could get our hands on (and of course, taking a few selfies in the process)! We modeled them for each other and for our friends on social media, and by the end of the night, we all found a pair that appealed to our own unique senses of style! (In my case, I found two — it was too hard to settle for just one!)
I can’t think of a better way to kick off this semester of writing with a group of beautiful and empowered women than a group shopping trip. The fact that the shopping trip was to the first Foster Grant store ever only sweetened that deal! All of the HC UCF ladies found a pair of sunglasses that appeals to their fashion sense. We’re so thankful to Foster Grant for hosting this event for us — it was an absolute blast, and I know we’ll all be hitting up the store again whenever we need a fresh pair of sunnies!
