It’s a week night. Life on weeknights is normally a bust, a complete no-show for all the happenings of college life.Â
Perhaps your stomach begins its periodic rumble and you go to your fridge. Zip. Nadda. Â
What now?Â
I bring you, dear reader, a wonderful accumulation of cafĂ©s, eateries and restaurants, of anything and everything to delight your taste buds. And I do not mean Chili’s or Jeremiahs, oh no, I’m talking about the back alley of gourmet, of places you’d never expect to find in your backyard.  Off-the-chart, delectable, mom-and-pop eateries you’ll salivate over. Trust me, I’m excited.Â
In truth, I want to dazzle the crowd and bring to light some amazing eateries for the enjoyment of readers and foodies alike. Whether that means I hop over to a vegan restaurant, a coffee house, a bakery, kosher-friendly establishments or whatever may float your boat, I’ll get it covered. Never again worry about disaster-ridden nights of homework and Netflix, or that date night spent bickering over going to Macaroni Grill for the hundredth time. Â
No worries, dear readers. Struggle no longer. As someone who flip-flops between Chipotle and Lazy Moon, I understand the debilitating task that comes with being the chooser, the person responsible for suggesting the next new thing and expecting everyone to jump on board. Often I mumble and grumble and suggest the same handful of places everyone is dead tired with, those spots where they know your order and where you hide behind your menu to avoid running into every person you know.Â
No more endless days of fast-food, takeout menus or pizza delivery. No more number 3’s with a Coke and extra ketchup, hold the pickles. No more chicken baskets from Publix with a side of sad canned veggies. Â
Take a chance and dip into the world of cafĂ©s, diners and places that scream delicious and edgy, new age and gourmet. Take a dive and trust my palate, I won’t lead you astray. Â
Join me at The Watering Hole.Â
