It’s that time of year again. Some of us dread it, and some of us soak in the attention and make it into a week-long celebration. Whether you love it or hate it, you always end up celebrating your birthday in some way or another. The most tedious part of the process is figuring out what you’re actually going to do. Here are five ideas that are bound to interest you and your friends for a fun night out.

1. Hamburger Mary’s: Hamburger Mary’s, located in downtown Orlando, isn’t just your typical bar and grille.The restaurant is famous for their cabaret dinner shows which vary every night with drag queen performers. From meals titled “Mary’s TA-TA’s” to drinks called the “Strawberry Tease Me” and the “Zipper Ripper,” Hamburger Mary’s is sure to provide you with an entertaining and comedic night.

2. Kobe’s Japanese Steakhouse: If you’d rather just stick to a nice dinner, head to Kobe’s Japanese Steakhouse located on East Colonial Drive for your birthday festivities. You and your friends can sit at a hibachi style table and watch as chefs stir-fry your meal in front of you, all while entertaining your party! Join Kobe’s frequent diner rewards program a month prior to your birthday month or bring a valid ID on your birthday to receive up to $25 dollars off your meal and a free birthday cupcake.

3. ICEBAR Orlando: For an experience that you’ll never forget, head to Orlando’s ICEBAR. Being the largest ice bar in the world, ICEBAR Orlando consists of 50 tons of ice carvings to create a winter wonderland, arctic feel in their 27 degrees venue. There are six ICEBAR entry times that start at 7:15pm and go on in 45 minute intervals. Located less than a mile from Orlando’s Convention Center, ICEBAR Orlando has a wide-range of food and beverages to satisfy your birthday party wants.

4. Blue Man Group: If you’re looking for something a little more low-key and less of the party
atmosphere, a show like Blue Man Group might be what you’re looking for.This unique form of entertainment is a mix between comedy, music, and theatrics. Located at Universal City Walk, Blue Man group has had over 17 million viewers and has a playful environment that all ages can enjoy.

5. Drinking Around the World: If it’s your 21st birthday, a great way to celebrate is going to Epcot’s Drinking Around the World. The process is very simple. As you reach each of the 11 countries, you have a drink that is representative to that culture. For example, you would be drinking tequila in Mexico, beer in Germany, and wine in France. Throughout your adventures in each country, you will be confronted with other attractions such as rides, gift shops, and restaurants that all coincide with the theme of the country you’re in.
