We’re young. We’re in love. And out of love. And in love again.

Babies are super precious and lovable but are you really ready for one right now?

At present, half of all pregnancies are described by women themselves as unplanned.

Birth control. 99% of women in the US have used it. In a recent survey, 55% of sexually active women ages 18-22 said that they’d feel more comfortable using contraception if more people talked about it in a positive way. So, let’s talk about it and say a big #ThxBirthControl

When women have the ability to plan, prevent or space pregnancies, they are more likely to finish school, achieve their goals and ultimately have healthier families. Birth control gives you the freedom to plan a family on your own terms. It allows you to work, travel or pursue your dreams before you’re ready for that little bundle of joy.

Our friends at the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy and Bedsider want to turn up the volume and down the controversy when it comes to birth control chat.

With their new effort to get everyone to give a shout out for birth control, Bedsider wants to spark the conversation about all that birth control makes possible for women, men, kids, and society! They hope to encourage an open conversation about the pros of birth control by dispelling myths, sharing facts and spreading the word that talking about this topic is so important.

On November 12th, across all social media sites we want to see why you’re saying #thxbirthcontrol! What does birth control makes possible for you? For society?

Our friends at Bedsider have everything you need to know about birth control and how to find the method that’s right for you! Grab some shareable postcards and join us in saying #thxbirthcontrol!
