As we enter in the last week in November with Thanksgiving break being just within our reach; the weather still hasn’t decided whether or not it wants to permanently bring the cold temperature to UCF. One day there’s a slight chill in the air the next its feels like summer. Lucky for style concise students at UCF their summer wardrobe gets an extended use into fall and winter season. Incorporating warmer weather items with cold weather pieces is a great way to keep balanced outfit in the unpredictable central Florida weather.  I spied UCF student Grace Fatseas on campus this week wearing a great mix of summer and winter weather clothing.

This marketing major knows how to dress.  Her outfit is knock-out combo of warm and cool weather clothing. Each of the parts of her outfits is super multi –functional. They work well together and also separate. Her slightly oversized knit sweater is a comfy and flattering piece for this fall and many more in the future. AN oversized sweater can be dressed up or down and thrown on with jeans, dresses or over just a pair of tights.

Her floral skirt from her spring side of her wardrobe she was able to have some new life breathed into it this fall. The bright floral patterned skirt was a sweet sight to see instead of the usual dreary dark color pallet that the cooler months bring.

This dance minor’s cross- body bag is a great handbag for any student to own. It’s a stylish alternative to the backpack; keeping your all of her books, pens, papers and her dance shoes in one place and her hands free. Fatseas’s light brown leather bag is a bag that can be used in and out of the classroom!

Grace accessorized her look with simple but impactful jewelry selections. Her pocket watch necklace was a unique piece, adding a vintage element to her ensemble. On her wrist she added a couple of tasteful bracelets and a chic gold ring to complete but not over power.

Finishing off her look, the dance minor donned this seasons big shoe trend – the ankle bootie. Just because it’s technically fall doesn’t mean you have to only wear darker “winter-esque” colors. Grace’s camel colored suede ankle boots were a great example of winter brights. The gold buckle details really took the shoes from simple to spectacular.

So go ahead and mix and match your sweaters with your summer clothing. Tis the season.Complete your sweater weather outfit pop in your head phones and jam out to the new song by the Neighbrhod ironically titled “Sweater Weather”
