I often like to think of myself as a sushi connoisseur, and just like all of you other sushi lovers out there, I am constantly searching for good, cheap rolls. Well, search no further! If you haven’t heard of Sus-Hi Ninja, you are missing out on some of the most creative, customizable rolls of Orlando. Sus-Hi is a quick-service restaurant that crafts rolls, bowls and wraps like you have never tasted before. I remember when Sus-Hi Ninja first opened up in August 2011. My roommates and I quickly became obsessed and found ourselves eating there at least twice a week. Since then, I have gone through about seven of their punch cards (when you make it to the end, your roll is free!). Some of their innovative ingredients include bacon, cheese, strawberries, jalapenos and walnuts. Yes, you can get a teriyaki steak roll with bacon and cheese melted in or on top. And yes, you can get a tropical shrimp bowl consisting of tempura shrimp, mangoes, strawberries and other bizarre ingredients. And if you don’t like sushi, no problem! Sus-Hi offers many different chicken, steak and ground beef options for all of you meat lovers out there, like a “chick n’ cheese” rice bowl or a teriyaki steak salad. There are even some vegetarian selections, too! The best part is that it’s for a very affordable price and will always fit right into any college student’s budget.
But this place gets even better! If you’ve never been before, you should definitely grab your man or a group of your sushi-crazed friends and check out their 2-for-1 special event happening this Friday, Feb. 8. The 2-for-1 special includes any roll, bowl, or wrap offered at Sus-Hi Ninja. This is Sus-Hi’s first epic event to celebrate Valentine’s Day and give you guys a deal you really can’t refuse. The 2-for-1 deal will be going on all day, but make sure to stop in from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., when they will have an interactive photo booth provided by Snap! on property to take some silly pictures and receive some free photo strips!
Sus-Hi Ninja is located off of Alafaya Trail in the same Plaza as The Station Bar & Grill and Flippers Pizzaria, near Gemini Blvd. and the Weeks Plaza (with Starbucks, Subway, and Moe’s). Its location is super close to campus and convenient for all UCF students to get to. So stop on by and get Ninja-fied! One meal and you’ll be hooked, I guarantee it!
