This week’s magic question from the gentle gender is, “Do men like it when women take charge in the relationship?”
Well, in short answer: whatever keeps you happy.
But in a long, drawn out, detailed, but still silently humorous answer, us guys just want whatever’s best for the relationship. Aside from what some people think, when one person drives the relationship, and the other just coasts, the results usually aren’t good. No matter how hard this person strives to make the relationship work, nothing positive is going to come out of it with the other person sitting still.
But as always, I’m shying away from the actual question at hand. Do we like it when the girl wears the pants in the relationship? It all depends on the guy. Some guys that have a little too much confidence think that since they are the man, they need to make the plans, and “support” you whenever needed. Personally, I think this can ruin a relationship. The obvious reason to be in a relationship (just a reminder) is to have fun. You want to be with someone that you have fun with. Not someone that makes you want to pull out your hair or cry yourself to sleep.
Now is the time to be having fun. Like what I’ve said in just about every one of my articles already, college is the best seven years of your life. So make sure you can look back one day and know that college was the great. So whether you want to fill these years with boyfriends and drama, or just simply learn the ropes of what not to do in relationships, these are the years in which habits are made. It’s really up to you if they are good or bad.
So in my opinion, I really don’t care who “wears” the pants in the relationship, as long as the belt isn’t too tight.
