Hayley Williams is hitting the road solo in 2026. The Paramore frontwoman recently released her third solo album and announced an accompanying tour, Good Dye Young Presents: Hayley Williams at a Bachelorette Party, launching Mar. 27 in Atlanta.
The tour will continue through Canada, the United States, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Ireland before completing on June 30. The name is a direct correlation to Williams’ album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.
Williams, an icon of the early 2000s pop-punk scene, has been the familiar frontwoman of Paramore since 15 years old, but she has also been releasing solo music since 2020. Following her features on several popular singles of the late 2000s and early 2010s, including “Stay the Night” by Zedd and “Airplanes” by B.o.B, Williams has created an extensive solo discography that has been held in high regard by critics and nominated for multiple Grammys. Since 2004, Williams has built a successful career as frontwoman of Paramore, a soloist, and a hair dye expert.
Despite her decades-long success, Williams is committed to creating an intimate and independent vibe on this tour. The first venue, The Tabernacle in Atlanta, has a capacity of 2,600, which is significantly different from Paramore’s stadium tour in 2023, where the venues often had capacities of 20,000.
Opening Williams’ shows for the majority of the tour is Brooklyn-based indie rock band Water From Your Eyes. Additionally, an alternative London-based Canadian musician, Tiberius b, will be an additional supporting act on a select few shows. Finally, Danish duo Snuggle will open in place of Water From Your Eyes at a couple of European shows.
Leading up to the tour, Williams took a stance on ticket scalping and ticket price gouging. In an Instagram post announcing the tour, Williams said, “I want tickets to get into the hands of my fans, at a price that is as reasonable as I could get.”
To combat the trend of extensive scalping and outrageous prices, Williams, in partnership with Openstage, will implement a 24-hour presale registration window. This window allows fans to register for one presale code, which does not guarantee a ticket; it simply allows fans the opportunity to buy a ticket.
Williams’ newest album is a testament of grief, rebirth, creative and personal growth that also stays true to her character by calling out social issues. Written after Paramore’s 2023 tour and released sporadically as a collection of 17 singles, these songs allowed fans to see Williams as an ever-evolving soloist. The album and accompanying tour are an opportunity for Williams’ fanbase to evolve alongside her.
Twenty years into her career, Williams is still wowing crowds and cultivating a strong and dedicated fanbase. The statements leading up to the “Ego Death” tour show that Williams is still challenging industry norms and striving to make the music industry better. From defending her fans from ticket resellers to prioritizing intimate venues, Williams’ upcoming tour is sure to solidify her as a symbol of the 21st-century music industry.
