A daily reminder to be a good person, life’s short.

Smile at a stranger who is down in the dumps,

Lift their spirit and show them love.

Stop focusing on all the bad,

There’s too much going for you, for you to be sad.

‘Pay it forward’ the next time you go out,

Give the struggling mom something to be hopeful about.

Hug your parents and thank them when you can,

You never know God’s plan.

Stand up for yourself, your family, and friends too,

Don’t let anybody make you feel obsolete or blue.

Compliment someone sincerely,

I guarantee all day they’ll treasure it dearly.

Give some change to the homeless man on the street,

Who knows the next time he will eat?

Be respectful, stay humble, and know you’re still young,

There’s much more to learn than from Google on your phone.

Write letters, notes, and thank-you cards,

That personable quality will definitely go far.

Look up from your phone while walking around,

You’ll see this beauty of the world all about.

Don’t be afraid to go out of your way,

These little gestures could make someone’s day.
