September 24th was a much anticipated day for all Shondaland lovers with the return of shows like Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away With Murder, and Scandal. Last Thursday the fifth season of Scandal premiered and boy was the world excited! Here are my five OMG! moments from the premiere:
1. Olitz
Shonda was too nice showing us a happy Olivia and Fitz together now that Mellie moved out of the White House. Although Sally Langston was the background, she couldn’t rain on this Olitz parade #Olitz4ever
2. Olivia wearing Fitz’s infamous Navy shirt!
Just the fact she was wearing his shirt to bed *swoon*
3. The car crash!
That crash scene was so intense. Our hearts broke that the “real life” fairytale between the prince and an average girl didn’t end happily ever after (darn you Shonda).
4. Mellie was SERVED…
DIVORCE PAPERS!?! After about two seasons of Fitz and Mellie faking a perfect marriage, Fitz decided it was time to separate. Is anyone else as shocked as I am? Because whoa.
5. Sally’s Liberty Report
FITZ AND OLIVIA’S RELATIONSHIP IS OUT IN THE OPEN. CAN SHONDA EVER LET US HAVE A HAPPY MOMENT? Sadly, the answer is obviously no.
And if you are like me and cannot WAIT for the next episode, Thursday cannot come any faster (am I right or am I right?).
