The spring season is here and so are all the new fashion trends! Spring fashion is full of endless options for funky prints with bright and bold colors. A few of the hottest spring trends are smocked tops, jumpsuits and anything with stripes or floral! If you are looking for spring outfit ideas that won’t break the bank, check out my suggestions below. 1. Colorful & Casual
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect yellow shirt for months now, but I’m glad to say I finally found it! The lettuce-edged sleeves on this shirt are adorable and enhance the simple t-shirt. I’ve also been searching for a classic overall dress that I can wear multiple times with different shirts. Overalls are so trendy right now, but finding the perfect one can be tricky. I recommend trying on a bunch of different styles in store until you find the one that you feel most confident in. This was probably my favorite outfit I picked up. The raw cut on this dress is edgy and chic. I chucked on my Converse chucks and rose gold sunnies from Foster Grant. Also, my car makes the perfect prop in this photo, and it makes the yellow in my shirt pop even more.
2. Stylish Stripes
Stripes can be found on tops, bottoms, dresses and even shoes! However, stripes can sometimes be a bit unflattering depending on the style of the piece of clothing. Fortunately, I found the perfect striped, flowy top for spring! The slight peplum design of the shirt is so flattering, and the shade of green is stunning. For this outfit, I wanted the shirt to be the main focus, so I chucked on a pair of basic boyfriend-style jeans that are incredibly soft and comfortable. To dress up the outfit I added my favorite pair of brown heeled sandals to add a little bit of dimension. I finished off the outfit with a gold cuff bracelet, choker, and layered necklace.
3. Jazzy Jumpsuits
Jumpsuits have quickly taken over the fashion world with their comfort and style. My favorite part about jumpsuits is how simple but elegant they look. When I went shopping for spring outfit ideas I was in the market for a jumpsuit. I wanted the perfect jumpsuit I could wear casually or dress it up for a night out. Forever 21 thankfully had the perfect staple jumpsuit I was looking for to add to my spring collection. For this outfit, I decided to go for an evening look and paired the jumpsuit with my favorite block heels and a crystal choker. This outfit is so chic but incredibly comfortable. I can already tell this jumpsuit is going to get a lot of wear time this season.
4. Flirty Floral
Anything that is floral is perfect for the springtime! I’m pretty picky when it comes to floral prints because depending on the style it can look a little tacky. When I was shopping I fell in love with this top! This is the perfect blouse that you could dress up or down depending on the occasion. My goal for this outfit was to be comfortable but chic. The ruffle bell sleeves are so trendy, and the floral print is very flattering. I ended up pairing the blouse with light denim high-waisted shorts and classic tan sandals. To complete the outfit, I layered a choker and two other necklaces.
5. Smocked Sundresses
If I had to describe my style I would say it’s basic because I enjoy simple pieces that I can accessorize and wear several different ways. Sundresses are perfect for the springtime because of how girly and flirty they make you feel. I tend to avoid stepping out of my comfort zone, so I opted for a navy blue floral dress. My favorite part about this dress is the smocked off the shoulder top that flows into a loose skirt. This dress made me feel so pretty and girly! I chose to wear a gold choker and white sandals to complement the white flowers. You could wear this dress with sneakers or dress it up with heels and a cute purse. Sundresses will always be a must-have for your spring wardrobe.
