Wherever Amy Sherman-Palladino leads, we will follow. Netflix has closed a deal with Warner Bros. for a limited series revival of Gilmore Girls, written by Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino (the greatest people ever). The revival will consist of four 90-minute episodes/mini movies. This news comes as quite the shock considering just this summer during the ATX Fest Amy shot down rumors of any movie being in the works. It’s okay Amy, we forgive you.

Netflix has brought to life a new generation of Gilmore Girls fans as it recently added the series to its online streaming. And with this revival, we can thank Netflix for offering old and new fans the ending it truly deserves. So they better not mess it up! After eight long years of waiting, we can finally see what our favorite mother-daughter duo has been up to.

All former cast members should clear their schedules, yes even you Melissa. Copper Boom!

Here is a list of things we need to see in the revival of Gilmore Girls:

1. Luke and Lorelai Getting Married

We waited seven seasons for Luke and Lorelai to tie the knot, and as we all know… it never happened. Even if they’re already married when we return to Stars Hollow, I want photos/flashback videos. Lorelai deserves to wear that beautiful gown and have us all cry as she walks down the aisle. Even when she married Chris we didn’t get to see the wedding… YUCK, I hate having to bring that up.

2. Rory working as a Reporter

The last time we saw her, she was off to report on Obama’s campaign. We know how successful the campaign was, so we can assume Rory was on that tour for a while. We can also assume she kicked ass at reporting it, because she’s Rory Gilmore. I can’t wait to see how successful her career has been, and what she is up to now.

3. Lane and Zack as Parents

Is Lane a Lorelai or is she a Mrs. Kim? My money is on both. Steve and Kwan are bound to be two beautiful twins and Lane and Zack are probably the coolest parents ever. Hopefully Brian moved out and has a life of his own. Also we must see Hep Alien perform at least once, but preferably they’re still together and rocking out at much bigger venues than those church halls.

4. Gilmore Girls with Social Media

Lorelai and Rory Gilmore on Twitter… need I say more?

Bonus: Lukes take on social media, with an updated version of the previous “no cell phones” sign.

5. Kirk Living a ”Normal” Life

Please have Kirk find one job and stick to it, even though he’s a millionaire and probably doesn’t need one. My vote is on interpretive dancer, because who could forget that wonderful video. He would be an instant YouTube sensation! We need to see Lulu and Kirk married and living in the old Twickham house. Because that place was beautiful and he should be moved out of his mothers house by now. Also, I hope he can find a cure for those night terrors, because naked Kirk, is TOO much Kirk.

6. Paris and Doyle Together Forever

What other couple can successfully teach each other self defense, hip hop dancing, etc. These two were soul mates, and we don’t want to watch a world where they don’t end up together.

7. Netflix and Chill, Gilmore Style

What is on the Gilmore’s Netflix List? I need to know! When these girls had movie nights they ordered a lot of takeout and had endless amounts of candy and junk food. They also took trips to the local video store…we need to see how the girls have adapted to the Netflix generation. My guess is they watch more content back-to-back, and their menus are more extravagant than ever before.

8. Jackson and Sookie Plus 8

Did Jackson ever get a Vasectomy? Probably not, I’m expecting Sookie to have at least 5 kids… maybe more. Sookie probably teaches Martha and others how to cook, while Davey and Jackson make weird hybrid veggies.

9. Logan Being Successful Without His Father

I’m still crushed to this day, that Rory turns down his proposal and he says goodbye to her. Even though she made the right decision to have a career over a relationship, I still cry every time I see that scene. When the show returns, we need to see Logan living and working on his own. That means no help or money from his father… Mitchum Huntzberger is truly the worst.

10. Lorelai Gilmore the Businesswoman

Does she sell the Dragonfly? Does she expand her business? We need to see Lorelai be the prosperous businesswoman we all know and love. I think Lorelai should teach some business classes to people who want to learn about running an Inn.

11. Sassy Michel

Lets face it we all have those days when we are a total Michel. I miss my sassy Frenchmen being rude to the guests and to Sookie. We need to see Michel being an owner of an Inn or running the Dragonfly. Maybe he purchased it from Lorelai.

12. Jess Having His Life Together

I wish to see Stars Hollow’s very own bad boy get his life together. I want him to continue writing books, and working for a publishing company. Rory believed in him, and I want her to be right.

13. Rory Finding The One

Please, lets end this Team Dean, Jess, and Logan thing once and for all. We need Rory to find a new man and make us all fall in love with him, or revisit an old flame and help us all understand why he is truly the one. But most of all I want to see her happy.

14. Emily as a Widow

Whether or not Amy lets us ball our eyes out during Richard Gilmore’s Funeral, Emily and the rest of the family have still suffered a great loss. How will Emily cope? Maybe she will read his favorite books or start a charity in his name. I’m sure Amy has something spectacular planned to honor Edward Hermann’s legacy, and I trust that this show will provide closure for the fans.

15. AMY’S LAST WORDS

Amy we need those last four words, like Lorelai needs coffee. You’ve made us wait this long, now the time has finally come to give Gilmore Girls a proper send off. Even though I never want things to end, I can accept this within hearing the four final words you had planned since the very beginning.
