We thought we were stoked for the free Slow Magic show in the Quad on April 4th, but today, ASUCD made finals week a little more bearable by announcing the breathtaking lineup of Flume, Kaytranada, and AlunaGeorge on May 19th. Tickets are $45 and will go on sale Friday, March 20. The show is at 6:30PM at the ARC Pavilion and is presented by Goldenvoice-SF and ASUCD Entertainment Council.
Flume, who began making music at just 13 years old, has developed a huge fanbase of electronic and atmospheric music lovers around the world, winning Best Male Artist, Breakthrough Artist Release, Best Dance Release, and Producer of the Year at ARIA Music Awards 2013. But if you aren’t already familiar with his tunes, or haven’t heard of Kaytranada, who is more atmospheric, and AlunaGeorge, a synthpop duo with a unique vocal style – we’ve got you covered with an introductory playlist!
