Davis Questions!

Why did you choose your major? I want to work in the medical field, but medical school doesn’t really appeal to me.

What is your dream job after graduation? I want to get a job at a biomedical company specializing in either imaging or medical devices.

Favorite class you’ve taken at Davis so far? German, I have a knack for foreign languages.

What’s it like to work at the UC Davis Bookstore? I have a habit of roaming around stores for hours and not buying anything. Now I get paid for doing that while working with the merchandise and interacting with people.

Worst biking story? Sigh. Once while I was biking with some friends away from SciLec at night, I ran into the traffic barrier bar used to let buses in. Had it been bright and sunny, I probably still would’ve run into it.

Fun Questions!

Favorite show and television character of all time? 30 Rock and Elizabeth “Liz” Lemon.

If you could travel back in time to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? I’d go back to my bed the summer before college started.

If you could take any animal and make it mini, what animal would you choose and why? I like sharks so a miniature shark would be something I’d like to keep in my home in its own aquarium.

What would your dream date be? Let’s go get food and watch Parks and Recreation at someone’s house. Also, let’s go to Ikea and walk around for hours pretending that we live in the different showrooms, and then get Swedish meatballs.

Last thing that made you mad? I woke up at 7 a.m. on Monday prepared to register for classes, and then I saw that my pass time was the day after. I woke up early for no reason.

Lightning Round:

Favorite Comedian: Too many to list. Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Bo Burnham

Mulaney Favorite Food: Chicken fried steak with a side of gravy

Favorite Place to Shop: Costco

Last Thing You Ate: Taco Bell Beef Quesarito

Turn Ons: Ability to cook, humor, long walks in home good stores, namely Ikea, similar music tastes, love of animals, generous tipper, a pulse

Turn Offs: Naggy, rude to waiters, unresponsive, doesn’t like food, doesn’t like chocolate, dislikes music, The Office and similar shows don’t make them laugh.

Parting words? A date at Ikea is not a joke. I don’t joke about quality Swedish furniture and meatballs.
