While I love browsing through Sephora and Ulta and seeing all of the new exciting products, more often than not, I turn to drugstore alternatives. While some products (like my favorite concealer or skin tint) are worth a little splurge, there are countless drugstore brands and products that have become essentials for me over the years. Keep reading for a run-down of my favorite drugstore makeup products!

#1: Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara

The Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara is my favorite drugstore makeup product of all time. I’ve been using this mascara for years and swear by it. In comparison to more high-end brands, Maybelline is much more affordable but achieves an equally great (if not better…) result, lengthening lashes without making them appear clumpy! I have tried more expensive mascaras and different brands, but I always find myself repurchasing this product!

#2: NYX Professional Makeup Suede Matte Lip Liner

Number 2 is the NYX Professional Makeup Suede Matte Lip Liner. The liner lasts for a long time after application, and it looks great on. My favorite shade is “natural,” but I have tried other shades that are great too! The price point of this product is typically around $6, and it can last for months of use, making it a great steal.

#3: e.l.f. Clear Brow & Lash Mascara

Although I started using the e.l.f. Clear Brow & Lash Mascara more recently, it has become a quick staple in my routine. I can’t stand how some brow gels peel off as the day goes on, and this product ensures that my brows don’t budge. It leaves a natural finish and doesn’t really look like you’re using brow gel at all. This is also one of the most cost-effective brow gels I’ve used – it’s usually around 4 dollars!

While some drugstore products are misses, these are for sure worth a try! If you’re in the market for mascara, a new lip-liner or a good brow gel, you might want to give them a shot! Sometimes makeup does not have to be super expensive to be really worth it!
