Just Here for the Boo’s: Halloween Cocktails

Celebrate “Halloweekend” with your friends by trying out some of these impressive themed alcoholic drinks. Cheers, witches! ;)

1. Pumpkin Pie Martini

Ingredients:

2 oz. of spiced rum (Captain Morgan)

4 oz. Mothers Pumpkin Spice Cream Liqueur

2 spoonfuls of pumpkin pie leftovers

1 tsp. of cinnamon

Crushed graham crackers for lining the glass

Instructions: Combine spiced rum, pumpkin liqueur and pumpkin pie in a martini shaker. Shake for 30 seconds or until smooth. Line martini glass by dipping rim in water and then into crushed graham crackers. Strain martini into the martini glass and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

2. Boozy Apple Cinnamon Cider

Ingredients:

Apple cider

1 oz. Fireball

1 cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions: Microwave one glass of apple cider in a microwavable mug until warm. Add Fireball shot and add cinnamon stick for garnish.

3. “Dracula’s Kiss” Cocktail

Ingredients:

1 ounce black cherry vodka

1/2 ounce grenadine

Cola or other soda

Maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions: Coat the bottom of a highball glass with grenadine. Add ice and vodka. Fill with cola. Garnish with cherries. If you would like to play up the Halloween theme with “Dracula’s Kiss”, hang plastic spider rings on the rim or float fake teeth or eyeballs on top of the ice.
