Her Wallpaper Reverie: Celebrating Springtime

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCD chapter.

It’s finally spring, and I’m relishing in the delicious warmth of sunshine, the balmy night breeze, and the feeling of excitement in the air as everyone finally
comes out of their winter hibernation. With sunny blue skies all week and summer just around the corner, I’m dreaming of days spent lounging on the quad reading this fun, thought-provoking book, listening to my favorite sunny-day music, and just relaxing with friends. What better to accompany a lazy afternoon in the sun than an ice-cold glass of pink lemonade?

Old-Fashioned Pink Lemonade

2 cups white sugar
9 cups water
2 cups fresh lemon juice
1 cup chilled cranberry juice

Combine all ingredients and stir to dissolve the sugar. Serve over ice. Makes one large pitcher perfect for sharing.
