10 Things To Do at UCD’s Whole Earth Festival

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCD chapter.

UC Davis’s Whole Earth Festival is this Mother’s Day weekend. Here’s a list of 10 things you might want to do at the Whole Earth Festival:

1. Try some of the vegetarian food.

2. Buy a cute succulent, or another plant if you’re good at taking care of them (succulents require less maintenance, so they’ll be easier to keep alive).

3. Check out the hand-crafted jewelry and natural beauty products.

4. Listen to a couple of music acts performing.

5. Hula hoop on the quad.

6. Eat a (somewhat overpriced) mango on a stick. It’s cut really pretty though, so if you’re looking to update your Instagram, this is your chance.

7. Get a Henna tattoo.

8. Take a look at the art installations.

9. Go look at the tie dye selection. There are tapestries to take pictures in front of and clothing items galore.

10. Try on a pair of butterfly wings (c’mon, you know you want to).

Have a blast, Aggies!
