Ahh finals week, a time when sleep deprivation, camp outs at Sci Li, and endless hours of cramming a quarter’s worth of knowledge into a few days are the norm. This site is written by Lauren Conrad (of The Hills and Laguna Beach fame) and friends. For articles on trendy beauty looks as well as video tutorials, this is your place to go.
For the Pop Culture Vulture – BuzzSugar
This site, which is apart of the PopSugar network of websites which has sites on fashion, technology, healthy living, beauty, and news as well, always has the latest news about upcoming television and movie projects, interviews with Hollywood A-listers, the newest film trailers, and recaps of popular tv shows.
For the Comedian – BetchesLoveThis
BetchesLoveThis, takes a comedic approach to the multi facets of young adult life. The betches, as the writers and contributers have come to affectionately call themselves, have articles on everything from diet coke to fraternity formals to relationship advice columns, to film, music, and television reviews all written with razor sharp wit.
For Everyone – GIF Tumblrs
Perhaps the most addicting of all, these tumblrs which are similar to the meme craze the UCR campus underwent last quarter via this site, (https://www.facebook.com/ucrmemes), feature images from popular movie or television shows that express truisms of everyday life. Careful, you will get sucked into reading page after page of these.
