Must have Outfits during Quarantine

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UC Riverside chapter.

During the quarantine, a lot of us are  staying at home in order to prevent the spread of the virus. A lot of us want to stop the spread, but still need to go out for essential functions. There are some outfits that I believe everyone must have in order to be comfortable and relaxed while also going to their classes or just enjoying being at home.

1. PJs

This is definitely one of my go-to’s just because of the fact that I have morning classes. Rather than waking up very early (like 8:30am) to go to class, I can just wake up half an hour prior to fix my hair and brush my teeth. I don’t have to change anything because I’m already wearing it.

2. Sweats

I wear this whether going out or not. By wearing this at home, not only do I feel cozy and relaxed, but I can still focus on  school since it was an outfit I would normally wear to class. It’s a quick and easy outfit that can still make you feel great about yourself.

3. Oversized T-shirt/Hoodie

This is beyond relaxing to wear around the house,  and since classes are online, it allows one to just wear whatever.

4. Leggings and a Sweater

This is probably an everyday outfit at home and it can help so one works out after class. I know when I went to the gym at school my outfit typically consisted of leggings and a t-shirt/sweater. This would allow me to bring in a quit routine before going on to do the rest of my school work.

Although no one will really see my outfits, I can style my hair differently, wear makeup or wear different shoes to glam it up a little. I would typically wear these outfits when school was functioning as usual, but with everything going on, I just tend to wear them on the daily.
