This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UC Riverside chapter.

Whether this be your final quarter at UCR (yeah buddy C/O 13!) or the end to your first year in sunny-side Riverside, here’s a few events going on this quarter to keep you entertained, give you a little culture, and conclude the 2012-2013 school year with a sha-bang.

1. Attend the HCUCR Fashion Show

Yours truly, Her Campus UCR and The Mod Fashion Club is putting on a Fashion Show next weekend, May 27th. 5. Attend a Riverside Arts Walk

A personal favorite, Riverside Arts Walk is a massive outdoor exhibit/market/performance. Performers, artists and vendors set up curbside around the blocks in downtown, with several museums and exhibits open their doors. On May 2nd downtown will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo, which promises colorful performances, mariachi music and with Tio’s Tacos around the corner, why not make it a Taco Thursday?

6. See a film, exhibit or performance at the UCR Museum of Photography

The UCR Museum of Photography, located in downtown Riverside often partners with UCR professors and students to bring exhibits, films and performances. This quarter they will be showcasing the academy award nominated Amour, among other performances that are well worth a look!
