Pastels are always very becoming in the spring, and lavender is at the top of my list. Lavender has always been one of my favorite hues because of the feminine, dreamy aura it emanates. This variant of purple’s versatility is evident through this week’s color board, which includes a wide range of pieces that are suitable for different styles and personalities. Embrace the classic, ethereal qualities of spring with the crepe midi skirt paired with a delicate tone of lavender on your nails, such as Laura Mercier’s nail lacquer in Lavender Cloud. Casual days are perfect for the tie dye top by Monsoon, which can be dressed down with shirts or dressed up with a longer skirt. Interested in a fitted silhouette? Follow the likes of Prada, Jason Wu, Nina Ricci, and Proenza Schouler’s Spring 2012 runway looks by pairing the knitted bra crop top with high waisted shorts or skirts. If clean lines and classic shapes are your cup of tea like yours truly, I recommend the flared dress from Topshop. Update the timeless shape with pearlescent pieces or chunky jewelry. If you’re still looking to add a dash of glimmer in your spring, the sparkle cuff by Betsey Johnson’s Tsarina collection is a nice touch. In the midst of spring, it can be hard to concentrate on school with summer break around the corner so make sure to keep your academic and social life organized with a Moleskine Legendary notebook in lavender. No matter your personal style, the wide range of lavender pieces is a great addition to your wardrobe.

Freshen up your wardrobe this spring by adding some mint green to the mix! This beautifully soothing color can be worn in so many different ways and gives a subtle, but refreshing pop of color to any outfit. Colored jeans, especially in pastel shades, are all the rage this season, so rock two trends in one with some mint green skinny jeans. Pair them with a neutral top and some delicate jewelry for a casual but feminine look. Or, if you’re feeling especially fashion-forward, color-block the pants with a top in a contrasting pastel shade and add a statement necklace. Not ready to take the plunge with colored jeans? You can still incorporate mint green in your wardrobe with a sheer collared top or some stunning cap toe flats. This Chanel-inspired mint green purse from Forever 21 is also a cute (and much cheaper!) way to channel this spring trend. And don’t forget to keep your lips hydrated and protected from the sun with this minty lip balm by EOS. No matter how you choose to add mint to your spring wardrobe, you’ll be sure to look fresh and fashionable this season!
