Snacks to Stock Up on Your Next Visit to Trader Joe’s

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UC Irvine chapter.

Trader Joe’s has been one of my favorite places to shop for tasty snacks for years now. The simplicity of the grocery shop layout, minimal ingredients and easy shopping experience has kept me a returning customer. One of my favorite parts about visiting are the array of snack options to choose from. I’m open to trying new snacks each visit but here are some I have been loving for a while now.

Almond Butter

This item is definitely my favorite and a great substitute for peanut butter. Some easy ways to have it is as a dip for fruits and veggies, on toast topped with berries, in an acai bowl or in oatmeal for breakfast.

Organic Air Popped Popcorn

This item is a great staple and I always find myself reaching for it. I like to have it simply out of the bag when taking a break from school work. Some new ways I’d like to try are in a mixed snack bowl or drizzled with almond butter. An added plus, popcorn is considered one of the healthiest snack options.

Cold Brew Latte Dessert Bars

These bars are the perfect fun treat for when you’re running late and want the same caffeine intake or when you have some friends over. Cold brew dessert bars in the winter sounds like a great plan. Though I have yet to try these, I can’t wait to grab a pack next time I’m at Trader Joe’s.
