Meet Instagram’s most popular cousins, Natalie Halcro and Olivia Pierson. Aside from starring on E!’s hit reality show WAGS, they are busy running a flourishing blog by the name Jérôme. As if managing their super successful blog isn’t enough, Natalie and Olivia also have their own youtube channel…total bo$$’s. Take a look inside their wild lives…..
1. Can you tell our readers a little about yourselves and your blog?
Natalie Halcro: My name is Natalie Halcro, and I grew up in Canada. I share a blog with my cousin Olivia called Jérôme!
Olivia Pierson: I am from Vancouver, Canada and come from a family of seven! I am super close to all my family members especially my cousin Natalie Halcro! We created a brand together called NAT+LIV and also have a blog, Jérôme. We chose Jérôme because it’s our moms maidens names, which ties us together as family. We are currently updating and revamping our blog so stay tuned for super fun posts ahead!
2. What’s it like working with each other since you’re cousins?
NH: It’s great to have your family as part of your work team!
OP: It’s a dream… could you ask for a better partner than blood? We have so many similarities, but we also have the right differences which compliment each other – it’s a nice flow.
3. What has been the most frustrating/challenging aspect in your blogging journey so far? Proudest moment?
NH: The most frustrating moments are trying to keep up with content while filming a TV show. My proudest moments are seeing that I am making a difference with my fans! All the support really keeps me going. There is not a moment in particular that sticks out to me because I am constantly reinventing the wheel.
OP: The most challenging part has been that we do the photography, editing and the writing all by ourselves. We both juggle filming a TV show, a YouTube channel and Instagram among other work deals so it can be overwhelming. Like I said above though we are revamping our blog so we are excited to get some good posts out! The proudest moment has been just the simple fact that people love going to it and reading our posts and love seeing what we are up too!
4. Who are some of your favorite bloggers right now and why?
NH: There are just too many to mention! I am inspired by so many bloggers!
OP: I like Nicole Isaacs blog because she’s so adorable and sweet and goes to the most awesome countries!
5. Who would you say is your number one fashion inspiration?
NH: Bridget Bardot
OP: Ohhhhh, that’s a tough one! But I just love Jennifer Lopez, to me she can never do wrong!
6. What are some of your current fashion obsessions?
NH: Ruffles and wrap shirts!
OP: I am obsessed with off the shoulder shirts! I think showing your shoulders is so sexy.
7. Would you encourage other people to start a blog? If so, what is one piece of advice you would give?
NH: Yes, I would! My advice would be to make sure you are up to the challenge. It’s a lot of work, but it’s totally worth it in the end.
OP: Yes I would encourage them to start one because it is so fun! Although I would warn them it is a lot of work… But do everything on your own time. If you want to post everyday, every week, every month your fans/friends/family will be waiting and it’s fun to get the response and interaction with them. So relax, it’s supposed to be enjoyable!
