What made you decide to do rowing?

I wanted to make friends with similar interests and feed my competitive nature.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Finishing my graduate degree (and fathering my fifth child).

What is a talent that you are proud of?

I can play the drums.

Describe your ideal date.

Probably watch a violent movie, then go eat steak to feed our violent natures, then hang out on my rooftop and drink some beers.

What do you look for in your ideal partner?

Tall, like me, enjoys athletic activities, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty!

What is one piece of advice you would give to girls about guys?

If you smell like food, I already like you!

What is one of your favorite memories at UCI?

One time, I was walking to class and I ran into about six people I knew, and it really made me feel like I had a lot of friends, haha.

What is your favorite cheesy pick-up line?

Hey, I lost my phone number, can I have yours?

Describe yourself in three words:

Tall, creative, and funny… I hope?
