On Sunday, February 12, Her Campus at UC Irvine had the chance to get together for a picnic day and photoshoot at Mike Ward Community Park – Woodbridge. The weather was nice and sunny, a perfect day to have a picnic.
The setting of the park was beautiful. It was very green, with a nice view of beautiful houses around, a big lake and of course the gazebo.
Our picnic started by eating delicious pizza, sweets, fruits, and chips. And to drink, a very refreshing sweet tea. As we were eating, we all introduced ourselves and welcomed our new members. Then, we began to share about one of our favorite places we have been. Many of them had the chance to visit very exotic places. From Dubai, Alaska, Turkey, Cabo. If you ever feel the need to travel, make sure to reach out to one of our members.
After eating and sharing lovely stories, we went over to the gazebo to start our photoshoot. Thanks to our president, Shary for being able to take quality pictures of all of us. Seriously, these pictures are Instagram worthy. I will definitely be able to update my profile picture soon. And, we wrapped up our day by taking group pictures from a funny pose, squad picture,to a Galentine’s picture, which made it to the national newsletter, yeah “how bow dah!” Some members captioned on Instagram, “We look like a classy business firm,” “sorority squad” “#novalentinenecessary.” Her Campus is your squad goals!
