Did you know that February is not just a month of love, but a month for chocolate lovers? Chocolate is definitely one of the most popular sweets around the world. It’s used deliciously for desserts and even main dishes. It’s also often used for gifts or snacks at any occasion, especially during that time of month. But what are some top brands of chocolate? Here is a list of chocolate brands that are too good to resist!

 

1. Ferrero Rocher

Ferrero Rocher was first manufactured by an Italian chocolatier, Ferrero SpA, in 1982. Ever since then, the popularity of this chocolate increased and it soon became a luxurious sweet. Underneath the gold wrapper is a succulent milk chocolate which contains the perfect amount of nuttiness and crunchiness. It is literally a taste of heaven.

 

 

2. Lindt & Sprüngli Chocolate

Lindt & Sprüngli is definitely one of the most lavishing chocolates to consume. Inspired and manufactured in Switzerland, these chocolates contain rich sugar that can satisfy any sweet cravings. With the numerous kinds of chocolate produced, including the popular Lindor chocolates which can make anyone drool.

 

 

3. Ghirardelli Chocolate

Ghirardelli Chocolate is actually a branch of Lindt & Sprüngli, which is mass-produced in the states. This division of the chocolate company was founded by another Italian chocolatier Domenico Ghirardelli in 1982, which is known to be the second oldest chocolate company in the United States. From simple milk chocolate to white chocolate with vanilla bean, Ghirardelli never fails to supply creative yet delicious chocolate sweets.

 

 

4. Godiva Chocolatier

Godiva was founded in 1926 in Belgium by Joseph Draps, but later went under the supervision of a food manufacturer named Yıldız Holding. Holding expanded the Godiva Empire to various countries around the world. Godiva not only just sell chocolates, but it also sells coffee, dipped fruits, truffles, and much more. Godiva also offers a free membership in which you can get fantastic deals, and also one piece of free chocolate a month. Guylian chocolate is popular for its famous sea- shell shaped chocolates that comes in different varieties and fillings. This brand originated from Belgium in 1960 by Guy Fourbert. The name of the company “Guylian” is the combination of his name “Guy” and his wife’s name “Liliane”. Though it can be a bit pricey, Guylian chocolate is worth the price.

 

 

6. Toblerone

Toblerone, which is most famous for their triangular shaped chocolate bars, was founded by Theodor Tobler in Switzerland around 1908. This chocolate is well- known for its prism shaped bar, but inside their honey and almond nougat mixed with their luscious milk chocolate makes it fun, yet delicious to eat.

See’s Candies was founded right here in Los Angeles, California by Florence See and her mother-in-law Mary. This chocolate company varies from lollipops to all kinds of different chocolates. See’s Candies will not disappoint with its creativeness and tastiness.

 

9. Dove Candies

Dove Candies & Ice Cream started out humbly as a candy shop in Chicago led by Leo Stefanos. Around 1956, Stefanos created the first brand of Dove, which was only sold in Chicago, but then expanded to other cities and then around the country. Dove also expanded its inventory. Starting off with just ice- cream bars to all sorts of chocolates to fruit and nut varieties. And, did you know Dove has special messages inside the wrappers of some of their chocolates?

 

 

10. Hershey’s

Hershey’s Chocolates is definitely the most affordable and satisfying chocolates in the states. Hershey’s first started off as selling its first chocolate bar in the 1900s but then mass produced different kinds of sweets due to its popularity. Ranging from just regular milk chocolate bars to little Hershey’s Kisses, Hershey’s is the to-go chocolate.
