The Holidays section of Netflix is really popping off with so many new movies and series that it’s hard to choose what to watch. Here Is a look into some of the latest original movies you could binge-watch over winter break and forget all about that rough fall quarter!

1. Let It Snow

If you went through a phase of reading John Green books like I did, you’ll definitely want to check this one out. The movie is based on the book Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle about a teenage friend group’s fun adventures and romances in a small town. There’s a star-studded cast including Kiernan Shipka, Liv Hewson, Isabela Mercer and Odeya Rush.

2. Klaus

The Spanish animator behind the Despicable Me movies, Sergio Pablos, created this beautiful film. It’s actually Netflix’s first original animation! It tells the story of how Santa Claus came to deliver gifts and focuses on friendship. Watch this for a wholesome storyline and gorgeous visuals. Characters are voiced by Rashida Jones, Joan Cusack, J.K. Simmons and Jason Schwarzman.

3. The Knight Before Christmas

If you are in the mood for a good old fashioned cheesy Christmas rom-com, look no further, my friend. A cute 14th century knight played by Josh Whitehouse falls in love with a high school teacher played by the Christmas movie queen herself, Vanessa Hudgens. You can also watch Vanessa Hudgens’ other Netflix Christmas movies like “The Princess Switch” for maximum cheesiness.

4. Holiday Rush

This is another rom-com, but this time it’s about a radio DJ played by Romay Malco and his four kids. This DJ is fired over the holidays and his family helps him find a new job. If you want a fun movie about family and the message of embracing the simple life, this is the one for you.
