Run a 10K with Women’s Health Magazine

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UC Berkeley chapter.

Do you love running? Do you love helping? Well, Her Campus-UC Berkeley has the perfect event for you. Women’s Health is hosting a series of 10K races called Run 10 Feed 10 to fight domestic hunger. Along with New York City and Chicago, San Francisco was chosen to host this awesome event that will raise funds for those in need.

So how exactly will you be helping, well the concept is really simple – run a 10K and the funds raised will provide 10 meals for those going hungry in your local community. October 26th is the day San Francisco will be hosting the Run 10 Feed 10 race. What makes this run so awesome besides helping others is the fact that the race kicks off on Crissy Field and you will have the unique experience of running over the Golden Gate Bridge. How awesome is that!

After the race, runners will be treated to a free post-race festival which includes a yoga free runners class, beauty touchups, amazing giveaways, and much more. All the proceeds benefit local food pantries. Her Campus-UC Berkeley along with Women’s Health Magazine invites you all to register to run a 10K to fight domestic hunger, all you have to do is just run.
