From cozy accessories to maple and pumpkin scents to American classics, I’m absolutely obsessed with fall! This year, my fall lineup consists of the little things that make college life seem more exciting and whimsical. Â
First off: UGG boots, my fav fall footwear
I’m absolutely obsessed with UGGs and have been ever since I was a little kid. Let’s be honest, they’re always in style whether you’re wearing the ultra mini platforms on your walk to class or sliding on your slippers for a Trader Joe’s run. I’m always styling my boots with leggings and a cozy sweater. UGG’s are so comforting, reminding me to stay comfy and whimsical always.Â
The Scarlet Letter: My Favorite ClassicÂ
This is lowkey a hear me out, because the first time I ever read this book was in AP Literature. The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne touches on confidence, resilience, and takes place in a gloomy New England setting. The main character, Hester Prynne, is shamed by her Puritan community for her “sins” but absolutely refuses to hide in a town that attempts to define who she is. I feel like she’s super strong for being able to stand her ground and continue to grow despite her town shunning her. The book takes you into another world full of secrets, candlelight and moral gray areas, making it a powerful read for anyone trying to tap into their reflective side this fall season.
Disney Movies & Trader Joe’s SnacksÂ
I was totally surprised when my friend group told me they had never watched Halloweentown before! It highlights a teenage girl figuring out that she’s a witch. It’s available on Disney Plus and was a huge part of my childhood! It’s charming, cute and a little cringey which gets me to my next topic: if you’re having movie night there’s a 100% chance you need snacks! I’m obsessed with the Trader Joe’s fall lineup since it’s basically the cheesiest love letter to fall. My current picks are the pumpkin joe-joes, maple ice cream sandwiches, and last but definitely not least, the butternut squash mac ‘n’ cheese! I’m lowkey obsessed with shopping at Trader Joe’s, but especially in fall because everything is so festive and fun!Â
This fall I’m really trying to embrace cozy chaos, trying and using my fall favorites when I’m not locked in and studying for my midterms!
