MY COACHELLA MUST-HAVES

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UC Berkeley chapter.

I recently experienced the grandeur event that is Coachella weekend, and let’s just say I am still recovering emotionally and physically from the most fun I’ve had in a while. From seeing Harry Styles and Shania Twain to being barricaded at Wallows, I’m not sure how I’ll ever recover.

This would be my packing list for Coachella if I were ever to go again:

 Sunglasses

The dust is no joke. I was sobbing at Beach Bunny, not just because they played “Sports” (one of my favorite songs) but also because there was so much dust in my eyes.

A plastic water bottle

The sun is no joke, and neither are the water prices. If you have the space to carry a water bottle, I would recommend bringing one to stay hydrated and to avoid paying for water.

Cough drops

As an avid Harry Styles fan, I may have screamed my lungs out a little too hard and lost my voice. By the third day, I would have given anything to have some cough drops to soothe my scratchy throat.

Extra sweatpants

At night it can be a bit chilly, and sitting on the dry scratchy grass when you inevitably get tired at night can be avoided with some cozy sweatpants.

Wipes and hand sanitizer

Tragically, the Porta-Potties were lacking running water the first day, and I was witness to one too many occasions of vomit. Needless to say, you never know what may happen, and having some extra sanitizer can never hurt.
