Valentine’s is right around the corner — a perfect time to celebrate and appreciate amazing women in your life with Galentines’ Day. Single or not, Galentine’s Day is the moment to appreciate your friends. Here are some ideas to make this day a bit more memorable.

Brunch

Everyone loves and needs food so dress up, gather your best friends, and get a beautiful delicious brunch. You can visit your favorite cafe, restaurant, or get takeout and enjoy at another location. The last option can be a bit of an impromptu brunch picnic and can be equally as fun. During brunch, catch up on each other’s hectic life and enjoy the delicious food. An alternative can be brunch at a friend’s house where everyone brings their favorite dish to share.

self-care day

The day should be filled with pampering and relaxation. This can be achieved through manicures and doing face masks. Painting one’s nails can not only make them look more together, but also make one feel more confident. Having a face mask is always nice to do whether it be hydrating, cleansing, or even just calming masks to help relax and enjoy the moment.

arts and crafts

If your friend group is a crafty one or just loves to do crafts, make it an activity. There are so many different budget-friendly crafts to do such as making handmade cards, friendship bracelets, or painting. If your friend group shares a hobby such as knitting, crocheting, or something else, then do that activity. The possibilities are endless.

movie marathon

Who doesn’t like movies? This day can be a perfect day to sit down and binge your favorite movies with your friends or watch a new movie you’ve been dying to see. This can also become a potluck where everyone brings a dish or snack to munch on while watching the movie. So, get your friends a snack and a cozy blanket, put on a film, and enjoy.

go outdoors

If your group loves nature, then plan a hike or even a simple walk after brunch and enjoy the sun and the current cold breeze. As we enter spring, the trees are getting greener and flowers are blooming. It’s a perfect time to enjoy the outdoors.

Valentine’s Day is not just for couples; it’s for friends and family to celebrate one another and express their love for one another. Whether you choose to celebrate Galentine’s alone, with your significant other, or with your friends, have fun, enjoy and relax with each other, and appreciate their presence.
