Known as the Queen of Sunday Night Football, Michele Tafoya is at the height of her career. Born in 1964 in Manhattan Beach, CA, Tafoya always has had a passion for sports. She received a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley in 1988, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Southern California in 1991
Michele worked for several years for CBS Sports, covering the Winter Olympics and various games in the NFL, college football and college basketball.
Tafoya reported for radio station KFAN-AM in Minneapolis, covering the Minnesota Vikings and the University of Minnesota women’s basketball team, as well as serving as a sports anchor for WCCO-TV.
In her personal life, Michele married Mark Vandersall in 2000, and gave birth to her first child, a son named Tyler Bruce Vandersall, in 2005.
In 2000, Tafoya joined ABC sports/ESPN.
Currently, Tafoya is the sideline reporter for a number of sports including Monday Night Football and Sunday Night Football on NBC. She covered the last SuperBowl in New Orleans.
