It’s the little things that keep us sane, but during exam season many of us don’t have the time to completely indulge in a full-on “treat yo’self” session. That doesn’t mean that we can’t still have a bit of fun! If you’re feeling overwhelmed with the sheer stress of these final days of term, here is a little seven day challenge to keep you grounded.

Day one: Get to bed early so that you can wake up early (well, early-ish).

Enjoy your morning coffee without being rushed.

Day two: Put on an outfit you wouldn’t usually wear.

Whether that be a Kermit onesie or your slickest ensemble, get out there and rock it!

Day three: Study in a new (and maybe odd) place.

Make it your own secret lair!

Day four: Listen to a song from your childhood that really spoke to you.

See if it still does.

Day five: Wear a blanket around your shoulders like a cape.

Like super-snuggly royalty!

Day six: Hide money somewhere for your future self to find.

Now that’s what I call investment!

Day seven: Stick encouraging post-it notes in random booked at the library.

You’ll make someone else’s day that much brighter!

With the help of these challenges, hopefully you’ll be able to find a bit of fun in each day and survive exams not too worse for wear. Enjoy, HC Cuties!

Avery is a second-year student at the University of British Columbia, where she is exploring her innumerable and possibly not very practical interests. She hails from the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island and has plans to do much more travelling before she gets too tired. If given a choice she would much rather have gone to Hogwarts, but readily admits that UBC is a close second. Her most notable talent is an uncanny ability to quote Hamilton during almost any conversation.
