5 Ways to Have the Best Night In

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UBC chapter.

Exams are nearly over—cue the choir of children singing Hallelujah—which makes it the perfect time to host a celebratory night in! Invite your best friends over or have a relaxing night alone; either way, we’ve got you covered with five ways to have the best night in:

1. Grab all of the classic slumber party movies

Mean Girls, She’s the Man, Clueless, John Tucker Must Die…to name a few.

2. Pick up some face masks

While there are thousands of options, we recommend the 7th Heaven face masks. Not only do they smell delicious, but they are also Vegan friendly and ultra nourishing, leaving your skin silky smooth and refreshed post exam stress.

3. Make a floor bed

Grab your mattress and lay it on the ground with as many pillows and blankets as you can find; you’ll be as snug as the chick in the gif above.

4. Get your favourite junk food

Whatever that may be, indulge and get it! A great recipe I learned from one of my favourite YouTubers, Kalyn Nicholson, is rice cake pizzas: simple spread salsa or tomato sauce on rice cakes, sprinkle cheese, and microwave.

5. Get a bottle of wine and have an impromptu dance party

Blast some old school J-Biebs and let loose.

You and your friends deserve a break, HC UBC! Reward yourself for surviving yet another exam season, and forget about being an adult for the night.
