Thanksgiving is coming in hot and even though the Macy’s Day Parade, spending time with our family and friends, and being thankful is very important to Thanksgiving… let’s not forget about that delicious food that we love to have on this special day. Not all dishes are created equal and some dishes we’d rather not see on the Thanksgiving Day.

6. Mash Potatoes

Mash Potatoes are good if made right, but I really won’t consider this a staple Thanksgiving dish therefore it is on this list because it’s more of Monday dinner dish than a Thanksgiving food.

5.  Sweet Potato Casserole

This dish is just overly sweet and why is there even a need to put marshmallows on sweet potatoes?

4. Creamed Corn

Cream Corn is just an odd dish! Why does corn have to be creamed… just serve corn (same goes for corn pudding)!

3. Cranberry Sauce

Cranberries are not a bad fruit and have good tangy yet sweet taste, but making it into a sauce is not the best idea. It’s slimy and tastes almost like a jello which no one wants jello at their Thanksgiving dinner.

2. Green Bean Casserole

This dish is usually not the first thing people run to put on their plate. Veggies are not really a hit at Thanksgiving especially not green beans.

1. Brussels Sprouts

…….No one likes Brussels Sprouts. End of discussion.
