Name: Jacqueline Le

Age: 20

Classification: Sophomore

Major: English

Hometown: Homewood, Al

HC: Describe your style in three words.

Jacqueline: Fun, classy, and comfortable.

HC: What made you choose your major?

Jacqueline:  Ever since I was in elementary school I wanted to be a teacher. I never knew what subject until I reached 7th grade. I fell in love with reading books and English was my favorite subject. I knew that I wanted to teach something I wouldn’t get tired of. Something where I am able to read and influence others to read as well. English is a great major that promises lots of opportunities for those who major in it.

HC: What’s your favorite thing about UAB?

Jacqueline: The people! I love how diverse this university is and how lovely the student body is. Everyone helps one another and supports one another. I feel like we have a lot of student events that make our school lively and it creates a positive environment for everyone.

HC: Where do you see yourself in ten years?

Jacqueline: In ten years hopefully I’ll have a good job and I’m starting a family of my own. I would have my own place in California or possibly Japan.

HC: What do you like to do in your spare time?

Jaqueline: In my spare time I enjoy reading and listening to music. I typically go on YouTube and watch videos. I create makeup looks when I get bored. Singing is something that I will forever love.
