Everybody Needs a Stripper!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UAB chapter.

Recently, I’ve had this slight obsession with Perfectly Posh (PP). If you don’t know, Posh is a company that makes 100% all natural pampering products with nothing retailing over $25. Since I’m a college student (on a budget) and I love being pampered, this was an instant love connection! Ok enough chit chat, let’s get to the real deal. My most recent Posh discovery is The Stripper. Like most of my PP products I hesitated to buy it and when I finally did, I loved it

What Is It?

The Stripper is a detoxifying mud mask that “removes free-radicals, toxins, and pollution”. Just like all PP products, The Stripper is all natural and one of the vegan products they offer. The Stripper retails for $24.

How Does it Work?

The Stripper comes in an 8oz tub, but the sample I got came in a 3 gram container. I was able to get 2 full masks out of that sample container so a little goes a long way! The best thing to do is to wash your face with warm water, air dry and then spread the mask over your skin. Now this face mask is going to burn. And by burn I mean more than a tingling sensation but not near as bad as alcohol on an open cut. Just stick it out and let the mask sit for at least 4 minutes. When you’re done marinating, rinse your face and be in awe!

What I Thought.

EVERYONE NEEDS A STRIPPER!! After I rinsed my face, I was left with the smoothest, softest, most even complexion that I’ve had in a LONG time. And this is coming from the girl who exfoliates her face twice a day. My skin looked AMAZING. The next day I was able to get away with wearing absolutely no face makeup except for a little bit of concealer under my eyes. No foundation, no tinted moisturizer, and no powder! My skin was THAT flawless! The only product I know of that could come close to comparing to The Stripper is Glam Glow, but at $68 for only 1.2 oz, I’d choose PP every time!
