Dr. Sarah Parcak, an associate professor of Anthropolgy at UAB, is the recipient of the 2016  $1 million TED Prize. On Tuesday evening, TEDxUAB hosted a livestream of her presentation of her plan to create a “citizen science” internet site to help discover and preserve archaeological sites across the globe. Here, President Ray Watts gives a few opening words about Dr. Parcak.
