8 Drugstore MAC Lipstick Dupes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UAB chapter.

“Give a woman the right lipstick, and she can conquer the world.”

Even in college a girl has to stay looking fanstatic, and what better way than lipstick! MAC is undeniably one of the queens of lipsticks with over a 100 shades in their permanent collection, and you can’t tell me that you don’t feel like a bad*ss when you slick one on. The thing is…who wants to pay $16 a pop? Not this girl. So, I scoured the internet looking for drugstore lipsticks that are indentical to your favorite MAC shades.

MAC Cyber & Wet n Wild Vamp it Up

Cyber is a deep eggplant that screams with the confidence of Rihanna. Vamp it Up packs that same intensity but with a $1.50 price tag.

MAC Pink Nouveau & NYX Summer Breeze

Pink Nouveau is a great bubblegum pink that perks up any rainy day, and Summer Breeze will do the same while only costing you $6.

MAC Ruby Woo & Wet n Wild Spotlight Red

Ruby Woo is the classic matte red MAC lipstick. Spotlight Red will turn heads too even though it will only put you out of $1.50.

MAC Snob & Revlon Pink Pout

Snob is the perfect Kim K pink nude, but Pink Pout will give you that same Kardashian glam for $6.

MAC Rebel & Wet n Wild Sugar Plum Fairy

Rebel is an awesome winter berry shade, and Sugar Plum Fairy is exactly the same pop for just $2.

MAC Twig & Maybelline Touch of Spice

Twig is a popular color right now with rumors surrounding Kylie’s lip color. Touch of Spice is a perfect dupe for only $6.50.

MAC Diva & Wet n Wild Cherry Bomb

Diva is the perfect dark red  for…well, a diva. You too can be diva-licious for $2 with Cherry Bomb.

MAC Viva Glam Miley & Maybelline Vivid Rose

MAC just released their new Miley Cyrus Viva Glam lipstick, and you can match that neon pink with Vivid Rose for $6.50.

Pick your favorite and run out to the drugstore to grab it! (Check out the Wet n Wild display because as this list showed, they have fanstastic colors for cheap!)
