Plastic is one of the hardest materials to recycle, and one of the biggest pollutants on our planet. If you want to cut down on the waste you are creating in your day to day life, here are a few plastic-free alternatives for you bathroom, that you can easily recycle.

1) Bamboo Toothbrushes

You can repurpose these for cleaning when you are done using them or just compost them.

2) Metal Toothpaste

Every part of this toothpaste can be recycled individually.

3) Bar soap

There’s a bar for everything these days. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, even lotion! Here are a few of my favorites:

4) Glass deodorant

You can reuse the jar for your DIY beauty products or just recycle it!

5) Stainless Steel Razor

This has been one of my favorite low-waste switches. The initial razor can be pricey, but after that, you only have to buy the blades for the rest of your life, which ends up saving you tons of money!
