Have you ever scrolled through your Instagram feed and fell in love with a lipstick only to find out that it’s $25? Ever watched a Youtube beauty vlogger and watched them fawning over an eyeshadow palette only to see another vlogger say that it’s terrible? Sometimes, navigating the beauty world can be tough…especially when you’re shelling out quite a bit of $$$. So, what is worth the cash? Here’s 5 products that will give you the most bang for your buck!

MAC lipsticks $17

The OG and holy grail! MAC is known for their lipsticks, and they have a collection of hundreds of shades and 7 different finishes to fit everyone’s need! They are recognized by a signature vanilla scent and their classic matte black bullet tube. My recommendations? Plumful, Whirl, Diva, Brave, and Rebel are all AMAZING!

LORAC Pro Palette $44

First, let me say that you cannot go wrong with any of LORAC’s shadows…there are smaller, cheaper palettes that will blow your mind too. However, I think the most versatile is their first Pro palette. There’s an array of mattes and shimmers in mostly neutral shades (with a few pops of color!), and the shadows are buttery, pigmented, blendable…everything that you want in an eyeshadow! (PS you also get a mini primer with this palette!)

Nars blushes $30

Okay, I know the price might give you a heart attack…but hear me out! I believe that these are THE best blushes that money can buy. They are so creamy and give an amazing color payoff on the cheeks without looking clown-crazy or powdery. They look like perfectly flushed skin! I would try the cult classic Orgasm, the peachy-pink Amour, or the dusty rose Dolce Vita.

Jeffree Star Velour Matte liquid lipsticks $18

Not only is the formula so comfortable and weightless, but they are available in a wide variety of shades from everyday nudes to neon blues. You might have seen beauty gurus raving about them online and waving around the Barbie-pink tube in excitement…that is not an exaggerated reaction to this liquid gold. (PS these are only available for purchase through the online store!)

BECCA Shimmering Skin Pressed Perfectors $38

HOLY MOTHER, you need one of these highlighters. Okay, no joke…if you want to glow like the goddess that you d*mn well are, snag one of these bad boys. They are soft and luxurious but pack a punch in the glow department. I would 10/10 steer you towards getting Champagne Pop, as it is the perfect white gold that looks beautiful on all skintones. (It was created by Youtuber Jaclyn Hill…she’s kween.)
